We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sam Price MADipSW, MinstF (Dip) (she/her) as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Oasis Project. With over two decades of leadership and management experience in the VCSE sector, both locally and internationally, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to social justice and collaboration.

With professional qualifications in social work and fundraising, extensive experience of working with women and children affected by domestic abuse and homelessness, as well as a decade of leadership within the Brighton & Hove VCSE, Sam has a unique insight into the needs of our community.

She is dedicated to delivering impactful, co-produced services that make a real difference in the lives of women, children, and families affected by drug and alcohol issues.

Sam says: “I am truly excited to work alongside the staff team, trustees, and partners to take forward Oasis Project as we continue to deliver innovation, exceptional services, and improved outcomes for our communities.”

Chair of Trustees, Gill Whensley, added: “We are thrilled to have Sam on board. We are confident that under Sam’s leadership, the Oasis Project will continue to empower women, children, and families to make positive changes in their lives and in society.”

Sam has been working closely with our Interim CEO, Catherine Ashton-Saltwell, to ensure a smooth transition and officially took on the role last week.
