We were delighted to host a visit for the High Sheriff of East Sussex, Lucinda Fraser DL, on 30 September 2024. The High Sheriff’s principal duty is to support the Crown and the judiciary within East Sussex and Brighton and Hove, actively encouraging: the judiciary, the police and emergency services and local voluntary organisations.
Lucinda met our staff team including two peer group facilitators from across our service offer for adults, young people and children for Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. She was very moved and impressed by the quality of our client work, the positive difference we make and by the generous warmth of our welcome.
She fed back on the strong holistic connection between the services and the clear commitment of the team to providing the best service we can underpinned by our non-stigmatising, trauma-informed approach to substance use.
